Berlin Area No Kings – March 28, 2026
Protest Itinerary & March Route

We will meet on the sidewalk outside the Berlin Borough Municipal Hall (59 S White Horse Pike, Berlin, NJ 08009) starting at noon. You are welcome to show up early if you like; planners will be on site early. We plan to begin marching by 12:15 but this is flexible depending on how quickly we can line everyone up and how quickly you all arrive. The march should be moving by 12:30 at the absolute latest, but we will shoot for 12:15.
If you have mobility concerns, you have two options: you can start at the “Short March Start” point and walk a shorter distance without crossing the White Horse Pike, or, you can go directly to the rally site and skip the march entirely. (See below for accessible seating arrangements)
We will march down White Horse Pike on the sidewalk to the streetlight at the intersection of Taunton and White Horse Pike. We will cross at the light to the other side of White Horse Pike. This will require slowing the march line and will be done safely using traffic lights with the assistance of safety marshals. From there, we will progress down the White Horse Pike back to Broad Ave, then down Broad to Berlin Park where the post march rally will take place.
Once every marcher arrives at the rally site, we will hold our rally. There will be several speakers, chants, and other activities. There will be tables from the League of Women Voters and other allied organizations. The rally will take approximately one hour.
Demands
With this march and rally, we demand from/that the Trump Regime:
- Abolish ICE.
- Protect free speech, voting rights, & religious freedom.
- Promote global peace. No wars.
- Protect the LGBTQIA+ community and DEI.
- Affordable economy & sustainable environment.
- Science-based health and reproductive care for all.
Commitment To Nonviolence
This will be an entirely peaceful march. We will not be participating in any acts of civil disobedience. We will exercise our 1st Amendment Rights to peaceably assemble and demand a redress of our grievances.
We do not anticipate any counterprotestors, but it is always possible that some show up. We have a squad of Safety Marshals who are ready to keep everyone safe and de-escalate any situations that might occur.
Safety Marshals
Safety Marshals will have on yellow vests to make them highly visible. They will be posted at important locations involved with this protest to ensure safe conduct of our march, and will be present at the rally.
We could always use more volunteers, so if you’re willing to be a Safety Marshal, please fill out the form here: https://forms.gle/Jc5U9MJMfbGgXBis6
Getting There & Parking
Berlin Borough is easily accessed via Route 73 or the White Horse Pike. There is very little mass transit that serves Berlin Borough and our surrounding areas, so you will likely need to drive.
You can park in several public areas around the march starting site. Berlin Borough Hall and the Library have a public lot you can use. There is also street parking available behind the Borough Hall in the neighborhoods, but if you choose to park there, please be a good neighbor and do not block driveways.
Accessibility
There will be a small amount of accessible seating at the rally site. We ask that you use these seats only if you truly require them. Space is limited. If you are able to bring your own chair, we encourage you to do that so we can save the chairs we bring for those who cannot.
Weather
This is a rain or shine event. The current forecast looks positive, but that could change. Please dress accordingly. Trump’s atrocities don’t stop for weather and neither will we.
Bathroom Facilities
There are two Port-A-Potties at the rally site.
Messaging, Signs, & More
This march is not associated with any campaign or candidate.
Please bring American flags and feature them on your signs. That being said, we will not police other flags as we understand and celebrate the multiple identities that all Americans hold. We ask that you also not police the choice of flags from others. Everyone is welcome at this march and we celebrate our unity in our diversity.
We ask that signs be positive and joyful. Do not use any violent rhetoric or imagery. This is an entirely nonviolent protest. The whole march has a Halloween theme, so please feel free to include that theme in your sign.
